The Alcantara is a small river of 52 km on the Italian island of Sicily. The source is situated in the mountains north of the volcano Etna.

The Mincio starts in the southern part of Lake Garda in the north of Italy. The river flows for 73 km southward before reaching the confluence with the river Po and passes interesting towns and villages such as Valeggio sul Mincio, Curtatone en Mantua.


Po is the longest river in Italy, has its source in the Cottian Alps nearby the border of France. The river passes the cities of Turin, Piacenza, Cremona and Ferrara and flows into the Adriatic Sea, south of Venice.


The Ticino is born in the Swiss Alps, flows in southern direction tItaly, passes the Lago Maggiore and has its mouth south of the city of Milan, where the Ticino mingles with the Po River.
